To develop the skills and supports you need to Get a job of your choice and to use those skills to Keep that job.

WHAT SERVICES DO A.A.C.T.S.S EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PROVIDE?
Transitional Employment:

Food Services at our cafeteria allow for extensive training in all phases of behind the counter tasks as well as cooking, cleaning, inventory, money handling, and peer relationships, etc.

Health Related Occupations train individuals to work in a Nursing Home, Community Living Arrangement, or Personal Care Home. Skills taught include medication training, blood pressure monitoring, temperature and pulse taking, peer relationships, etc.
Employment will be found for those individuals who successfully complete the Food Service and Health Related Occupations.
*Follow up services and/or retraining will be provided at the employment site at no cost to the employer, if needed.
Community Based Work Assessment (C.B.W.A.) is a short term vocational assessment that includes vocational abilities, behaviors, and preferences in a competitive work environment using a one-on-one job coaching approach. It is reach work at a work site for vocational planning.
You, your OVR counselor, and the A.A.C.T.S.S. staff will help decide what program best suits your needs.
