My name is Cheryl Turner. I have been employed at the ARC for over 15 years. I have held several positions since 1995. Initially, I was hired as a Speech/Language Therapist in the Early Intervention program. I then became Group Supervisor for the day care program. Since September of 1997 until the present, I am a program Specialist in the ATF (Adult Training Facility). My position involves planning and implementing outcome goals for my individuals so that they may be able to reach their full potential and be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives, as well as learn social skills and community integration. I really enjoy working at the ARC. It can be very challenging at times, but it is also very rewarding. It's so exciting to see new goals being achieved. I have developed many close relationships with the individuals we serve.
On a personal note, I am a graduate of California University of Pa. I am married and have three sons. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, reading baking and being involved with church activities.
