BHRS is designed to help the child and his/her family takes charge of their own treatment by:
- Helping to understand the child’s diagnosis
- Assisting with medication management
- Providing treatment options
- Identifying and accessing the appropriate community support service
Depending on where your child’s problematic behaviors occur, the services can be provided in:
- Your home
- Your community
- Your child’s school

BHRS is here to help. Our BHRS program can assess your child’s specific behavioral issues and assist you with developing a plan of action to confront the troubling behaviors and begin living and maintaining a more comfortable way of life.
Our BHRS staff is highly trained and experienced in working with families who have a wide variety of behavioral health issues.
HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
A Behavior Specialist will work with your child and your family to develop a treatment plan based on your child’s strengths. A TSS (Therapeutic Support Staff) then works one on one with our child using the treatment plan as a guide.
Your child’s individual treatment plan is designed and implemented with the full participation of the family or caregiver. By brainstorming with Behavior Specialist, you help to set realistic goals to accomplish positive changes and, thus, create a treatment plan that fits your child’s needs.
You are the one who knows your child best, so your involvement with the treatment planning and implementation is crucial in the successful treatment of your child.
