    Hi I am Joey. My occupational therapist Mandy has been working with me to help me learn how to feed myself and eat more of a variety of foods. Before Mandy started coming out,I liked to throw food off my plate and did not want more than one food on it.I ate with my fingers and would not hold a spoon or fork. Now, I let the food on my plate, have started to stab with my fork and feed myself.The picture on this page is of my mom and I.She is using the brushing technique that Mandy taught her to help me sit still and pay attention more.It also helps me to enjoy more types of playing where my hands gets messy, like finger painting.My mom and I recently used finger paints to make my hands prints.She was so proud of me and is going to frame them.

Hi my name is Cameron and I am 2 year old. I first started to receive visits from my friends at Arc when I was 6 months old, because I had low muscle tone and developmental delays. The first service I received was PT Then as the need arose I started to see a teacher, then an OT and now I also get Speech to help me with my talking. In my picture I am "playing" with my PT therapist Wanda she is helping me learn to walk. My mom brags that I can crawl after her from room to room now. I am the quickest however when I can get out onto my porch to watch the cars go by. I am now taking steps in my gait trainer when someone helps me. My family is very proud of me and love that I no longer drink from a bottle. I am now finger feeding myself, especially my pancakes, and I am learning to use a spoon. I also love to play with my musical toys.
