Home and Community Services
WHO WOULD PROVIDE MY FAMILY MEMBER’S OR MY SUPPORTS?
Our staff will work closely with your family to match you or your child/family member and their Home and Community Worker based on personalities, interests, and preferences. You and your family will be given the opportunity to interview pre screened candidates and select the candidate you prefer. Once a selection is made, your selected worker will be given 24 hours of pre-training based around individual needs and strengths.
WHAT TYPE OF SUPPORTS CAN BE GIVEN?
The type of supports that can be given to you or your family member can include but are not limited to the following:
WHO DECIDES WHAT YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER NEEDS?
A personalized plan will be created through a partnership with you, your family member, family, supports coordinator, and our staff to outline and address your son's, daughter's, or family member's needs and preferences. This plan will include all the supports your child or family member requires to enhance his or her strengths and quality of life.
ARC's Home and Community Program provides custom tailored supports for you child/family member and family that promote opportunities for choice and empowerment.
Independence Waiver

OBRA Waiver
The OBRA Waiver is a Home and Community-Based waiver program that provides services to people with developmental physical disabilities to allow them to live in the community and remain as independent as possible.

Commcare Waiver
The COMMCARE Waiver is a Home and Community-Based program developed for individuals with a medically determined diagnosis of traumatic brain injury (TBI). COMMCARE prevents the institutionalization of individuals with TBI and helps them to remain as independent as possible.
Traumatic brain injury or TBI is defined as a sudden insult to the brain or its coverings, not of a degenerative, congenital or post-operative nature, which is expected to last indefinitely.

Community Services Program for Persons with Physical Disabilities (CSPPPD)
The Community Services Program for Persons with Physical Disabilities (CSPPPD) provides services to people with severe physical disabilities. Individuals must have another related condition, physical disability, or traumatic brain injury. Individuals must experience at least three substantial functional limitations in the areas of mobility, communication, self-care, learning, self-direction, or capacity for independent living.
