Arc, Fayette Breaks Ground on New Facility to Expand Services and Impact
Arc, Fayette celebrated a major milestone today with the groundbreaking of a new facility aimed at expanding programs and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The event was attended by board members, staff, project teams, and community partners. Sue Quinn representing Senator Stephano, Debbie Hoone representing State Representative Krupa, Commissioner Dunn, Ashley Howes representing the Chamber of Commerce, also joined the celebration.
“This project is an important step forward in our mission to empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families,” said Mary Mossburg, Executive Director of Arc, Fayette. “It will help us continue providing exceptional care while expanding our programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our community.”
The new building will allow Arc, Fayette to grow its programs, strengthen services, and create more opportunities for individuals to reach their full potential. “This project is more than just a building; it is a foundation for our continued growth and the expanding impact we can have across our community,” Mossburg added.
The groundbreaking marks the beginning of construction, with completion expected by the end of 2026. Arc, Fayette looks forward to celebrating a ribbon-cutting and opening event in the months ahead. The new building will be at 1125 Eberly Way, Lemont Furnace.
