Katelyn Herman Behavioral Specialist

Katelyn A. Herman is the Arc Fayette Behavioral Specialist.

Katelyn is a Licensed Behavioral Specialist, who is passionate about providing person centered care. She has obtained a master's degree from Penn West University with a degree in Special Education with a concentration in autism and applied behavior analysis.  

At The Arc Fayette County, she is responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments to help guide the development of interventions to be implemented to modify target behaviors. She will ensure that adjustments are made to the treatment plan, if needed, so that the individuals' outcomes are met. Prior to employment at The Arc Fayette County,  Katelyn has experience conducting functional behavior assessments to develop behavior support plans for individuals in various settings. With her education and experience, she has demonstrated competency to provide individualized support with a focus on quality of life to each individual she serves.

Her aim is to use data-driven decision-making skills to ensure that individual rights are upheld while promoting respect, inclusion, and opportunity in the community.
